Pepsi “We Inspire” (www.PepsiWeInspire.com) is an interactive online community that encourages women to share their sources of inspiration and taps into their powerful bond through a platform built just for them. Recognized with an NAACP Award on Friday, February 26, 2010 for advancing positive multicultural images in advertising and media, the “We Inspire” program is gaining momentum as a meaningful movement touching the lives of women from all walks of life.

The actress – who has two daughters, Ripley, eight, and Nico, four, with her producer spouse Ol Parker – admitted they both have such busy lives that they mainly communicate by text message.

The ‘Crash’ star said: “She’s my right hand woman. I hate to say it but we may actually text and speak more than my husband and I!”

Speaking of her husband, the 37-year-old actress added: “We are so busy, our relationship is largely lived on texts – from, ‘Remember to pack sandwiches for Nico’s school trips’, to figuring out when we can do stuff together.

“We text at least five times a day and probably talk the same amount. It’s a real lifeline for us.”

Thandie can call on her assistant for anything, but admits they are not always nice to one another.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: “The most embarrassing thing I have asked her to do was to deliver some food for me last week on a shoot. I’m currently doing a detox and I feel like such a diva – not only having food delivered to the set, but also the fact that it was raw, vegan, had to be eaten within 24 hours… all this c**p!

“We are also very rude to each other on text – I called her a lying b***h the other day! If anybody read a transcript without knowing us, they’d think we were crazed!”

Actress Thandie Newton has revealed that she shares strong bond with men because she does not flirt with them.

The 37-year-old ‘Crash’ star, married to writer Ol Parker, said she keeps her distance from manipulating her sexuality.

“I’ve never dated an actor, just had the odd fling. Isn’t that weird?” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“I don’t flirt with people – a long time ago, I stopped using my sexuality to have a relationship with people.

“I don’t really think you get a sense of me, sexually, and that’s why I have really great relationships with straight men,” she added.

Actress Thandie Newton has revealed that she had to dump her ex-boyfriend because she fell in love with her future husband Ol Parker.

The ‘RocknRolla’ star said that she was head over heels in love with Parker when she met him in 1997.

“He wrote a screenplay called In Your Dreams that I filmed in 1997. It’s very unusual to have writers around on set because directors don’t want them there. But they love having Ol around. He was on set every day and I fell madly in love with him…” the Daily Express quoted her as telling Britain’s InStyle magazine.

She added: “I’d never experienced that before. Up until then, my relationships had always been more based on people wanting to be with me. When I met Ol, I was dating a really sweet, lovely man and I had to leave him straight away, even though I wasn’t even going out with Ol!

“But as soon as I met Ol, it kind of cut off any other blood vessels to anywhere else. We got married about two years later; we’ve just had our 11th wedding anniversary.”

The pair has two daughters- Ripley and Nico- together.
